Southern Jewish Life in Fact and Fiction
Sunday, February 28, 2016 • 9:30 - 11:00 a.m., in the Library
Discussion facilitated by Dorian Stuber and Marianne Tettlebaum
In honor of B’nai Israel’s sesquicentennial, we will read and discuss short stories that will resonate with the southern Jewish congregational experience. We will ultimately consider the role of fictional accounts in reflecting on our lived and historical experience. Readings, which will be drawn from authors such as Max Apple and Steve Stern, will be available well in advance.
