Thanks to a generous endowment from the Thalheimer family, Jewish Federation is able to offer scholarships for young adults to study and travel in Israel.

How to Apply:

Please submit a 1-2 page description of the Israel program with which you will travel/study, including how you will benefit, what your experience will enable you to bring back to the Arkansas Jewish community, and a budget (indicating the specific amount you are requesting from JFAR) to director@jewisharkansas.org. Applicants are typically notified within one week of submitting their applications.

Recipients of Thalheimer Israel Scholarship funds must agree, upon their return, to write a short article on their experience for JFAR's Action newsletter.
